Bleach, although strong, doesn’t do a good job of removing urine, because it’s essentially using the same compounds that are IN urine. You’re better off to use an enzymatic cleaner meant specifically for urine, mixed with vinegar. Give it a shot, good luck!

  • Thats too bad that none of those have worked. Try vinegar, it will smell like vinegar until it dries and then it will not smell. Make sure your dogs are not able to eat it, so block them out of that room until it dries. Good luck.

  • Lemon juice will get rid of the smell and may stop whoever is weeing on your floor from doing it again if was an animal, if it was a person then don’t let them in next time!

    are you irish?

Try Jayes Fluid. It will make your house stink of Jayes Fluid But at least it won’t smell like a stray dog compound any more. Unless it’s a stray dog compound that uses lots of Jayes Fluid. Or you could try going to the toilet yourself for once and stop blaming the dog. HA HA HA (Sorry, couldn’t resist)

my dog had a bladder problem for a while, and urinated liberally throughout the back room. I took up the carpet, and cleaned thoroughly – still stank.
My solution was to move out, as I was only renting the place anyway.

try coffee from the can. spread some around and then clean it up after 1 hour . and then spread baking soda. and leave it over night. that should work good luck.

Try a mixture of pure lemon juice and bicarbonated soda, mixed in with half a bottle of sparkling water. Shake it up until its all disolved and spray it on the affected areas then leave it – don’t mop it up! Let the lemon and bicarb nutralise the smell then mop it up – about three to four hours! All bleach will do is change the colour of the wee and let you know its there! I know it seems the best idea but putting bleach on your wooden floor will ruin it! If your dog continues to wee indoors then put down fresh orange and lemon peelings where he / she is going – they hate citrus fruit ( it hurts their eyes ) and so will avoid those area’s – he / she will soon learn that its best to go outside ha ha, in the fresh air! Best of luck to you.

  • There are a number of commercial products for getting rid of urine odor available at places like Petco. They work really well ~

Try some household products to clean your tiles…
No dog is born with good manners, but with proper training you can teach your dog not to wee inside your house… Here’s a informative site for your dog’s training… http://dogtime.com/incontinence.html
    goodluck…
