I just bought a hoover and I love it. I bought it when I got a new a puppy for x-mas and it has been a life saver. Mine has the hose attachments and scrubbing brush for stair/upholestry and it work great. My only dislike is that in order to get a good one it is going to be heavy and I am a neat freak so I clean my machine with baking soda and water after it use and it is hard to clean.
We have used the bissel proheat extensively but the cleaning wand doesn’t have a powered brush in the end just the water/solution spray and the suction and a permanent brush. I would recommend any of the hoover or bissel steam floor cleaners with the powered spinning brushes in the wand.
Last time I saw a rugdoctor in the store it was at kohl’s and cost $700. For that price I would rather just call stanley steemer a few times a year for a few years.
